Meet Norman, a courageous yellow Labrador retriever who saved the lifetime of a woman named Lisa Nibbley from drowning within the deep ocean.
Norman was abandoned by his previous owners then was taken to an animal shelter. Thankfully, a few named Annette and Steve McDonalds rescued him from the shelter the day before he was scheduled to be euthanized.
Shortly after bringing home Norman, the couple noticed there was something wrong together with his eyesight. They took him to the vet and located out that he had Retinal Atrophe, a genetic disorder with no cure, which might then cause to blindness.
After a couple of years, Norman went permanently blind, but his blindness didn’t hold him back. He was adapting fine to his condition and was still ready to run and play a bit like the other dog his age.
Then at some point , as Norman was walking together with his owner Annette on the beach, they saw the small girl Lisa Nibbley within the water crying for help. At that moment, this hero dog knew exactly what he had to try to to .
