I learned how to make myself from my mother-in-law, her recipe is whole wheat salsa. So after eating meatballs for a week, I checked the label and cooked them in the slow cooker. This is no short meal, yet it is easy, with only a few ingredients and the meatballs can make several meals if you make more, as I do.
* ingredients :
° 1 pound minced meat
° 1 large egg
° ⅓ c breadcrumbs
° c parmesan cheese
° 1 tbsp. garlic
° 1 teaspoon clean chopped parsley
° salt and pepper
° 1 teaspoon olive oil
° 2 c marinara sauce
° Eight Mini Huji Rolls
° 12 slices of Asiago cheese
* Directions :
Heat the oven to 350 degrees.
Prepar a baking tray with non-tick spray.
Add beef, eggs, breadcrumbs, garlic, Parmesan, garlic, and parsley in a bowl.
Use your hands, the components work together.
Add salt and pepper.
With an ice cream scoop start forming meatballs.
Adding oil to skillet also heat on medium heat.
Add the meatballs one at a time to the modern skillet.
Cook for about five minutes or until brown on all sides.
Place the meatballs on an oven tray covered with aluminum foil inside the oven.
Cook for 12 minutes.
Take it out of the oven and set it to the side.
Cut an oval on top of the roll leaving about an inch at the ends and sides.
The ladle does not cut the lower half of the spool.
Use the knife to flatten the top of the roll.
Place the roll on the baking tray.
Place a slice of cheese inside the hole area.
Return to the oven and prepare dinner for eight minutes.
Add 2 tbsp. of marinara over cheese.
Lay three meatballs on top of the cheese.
Add more marinara over the meatballs.
Placing grated cheese Parmesan on marinara.
Return to the oven and bake for 6-8 minutes.
